Bugatti Chiron World Record Video Shows the Car Going 273 Mph

If you watch to the video's 2:14 mark,

you'll see a "To be continued..." title screen, followed by a closeup shot of the Chiron's speedometer climbing to 440 kmh, which translates to 273.4 mph. Did Bugatti just confirm the Chiron is now the fastest production car on Earth?
Currently, the record for fastest production car is held by the Veyron SuperSport, which has a top speed of 267 mph. 273 mph is uh, faster than that. The Chiron also has a limited top speed of 261 mph. That limiter was obviously removed if the car hits 273.
