The premier will deliver a keynote address at the event, while both ministers will visit the show’s Cambodian pavilion and trade exhibition hall.
Mr Hun Sen will also meet with a number of Chinese government officials, but it is not known whether they will include Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to an official statement, the 14th China-Asean Expo will further enhance bilateral cooperation between Asean members and China.
It is intended to increase two-way trade and investment toward achieving the target of $1 trillion from China to the Asean region and $150 billion from Asean to China by 2020.
The premier’s trip comes days after Wang Jiarui, vice chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, visited Cambodia and expressed support for efforts to protect the country’s national security, including the controversial arrest of opposition leader Kem Sokha on allegations of treason.
