The Stranger Things Kids Are Turning Every Music Video into the Upside Down

Netflix’s most popular shows to date? For the Stranger Things cast, the answer seems to be “music videos.” So far, three of the series’s precocious young stars have made their debuts in these clips—and, unlike their team effort on “Uptown Funk” at the Emmys, they’re all . . . pretty dark.

The trend started back in September, when Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in the series, got kidnapped and tortured by a cult in Panic! at the Disco’s “LA Devotee” video. The kid gets poked, prodded, force-fed, and hooked up to electrodes until he chants along with a crazed, cockatiel-haired Brendon Urie. Poor Will just can’t catch a break, can he?
