Man charged over family murders

charged a 26-year-old man with premeditated murder over killing his two-year-old daughter and 57-year-old father-in-law because his wife divorced him after he allegedly raped her mother.

Bun Visal, a police officer with the municipal major crimes unit, said Eng Samnang, who was arrested in Kampong Speu on Sunday, faced a life sentence if convicted.

Police say he raped his 49-year-old mother-in-law on August 29 in Svay Rieng province while his wife was at work and his father-in-law was in hospital.
